Mikayla is a 20 year old artist from Brooklyn, NY. This piece is about unveiling the ugly truths within ourselves and the world around us. We knowingly and unknowingly participate in things that have ugly consequences; fast fashion, food waste, pollution, support of unethical brands that use child labor, over-consumption, etc. How can we become better at tackling these issues in a world that is seemingly unwilling to change?
